The Mediana HeartOn AED A15 is designed for simplicity and rapid response. The unit comes with a protective outer cover, which, when opened using the easy sliding switch, automatically powers on. The defibrillator pads are pre-connected and ready for immediate use, with LED indicator lights that flash alongside voice prompts. Visual icons guide the user through necessary actions, while the adult/paediatric mode switch ensures the correct setting without changing the pads. The AED battery is disposable (LiMnO2 non-rechargeable), with a 2-year shelf life and 5-year standby life.
